Nos vamos al Zimbabue de los años inmediatamente anteriores a su independencia, entre 1975 y 1980. Su capital, Harare, era un hervidero de influencias musicales locales e importadas que fueron dando forma a un sonido característico y original, sin dejar de ser tremendamente plural, como se refleja en esta recopilación que acaba de publicar Analog Africa: “Roots rocking Zimbabwe: The modern sound of Harare townships, 1975-1980”.
We head to Zimbabwe in the years immediately preceding its independence, between 1975 and 1980.
