Mundofonías 2026#68: Regresos históricos, jazz enraizado y crónicas coreanas / Historic returns, rooted jazz and Korean chronicles

Regresos históricos, jazz enraizado y crónicas coreanas

We begin with our #Mundofonews, announcing upcoming live music, such as the return of the Mallorcan Maria del Mar Bonet to Paris, recreating her legendary concert at the Olympia half a century later. We present the Jazz en Red initiative, the tour by the Peruvian Oriente Trío and the Afro-Cuban pulse of Pepe Rivero, before immersing ourselves in the Korean music we were able to enjoy at the latest edition of the Jeonju International Sori Festival, from which we bring our report, linking it with further jazz, traditional and experimental connections that offer us an interesting panorama of contemporary Korean roots music.
