Escuchamos la música del grupo danés Basco. ¿Pero qué lío es este? ¿Es danés, es Basco? Pues ambas cosas, porque llegan desde Dinamarca y cogen su nombre de la muy habitual denominación usada allí y en otros lugares para determinado tipo de gorras. Su nuevo trabajo se titula “Three times into something wild” (‘Tres veces en algo salvaje’), disco del que extraemos dos piezas de carácter bien diferente.
We listen to the music of the Danish group Basco. But what kind of mess is this? Is it Danish, is it Basco? Well, both things, because they come from Denmark and take their name from the very common designation used there and elsewhere for a certain type of cap. Their new work is titled “Three times into something wild”, an album from which we extract two pieces of very different character.

Latin American musics resound, with roots in Argentina, Haiti and Cuba, then continuing through the Mediterranean, with stops in Italy, with a klezmer connection from Ukraine, and in Cyprus.
