Repasamos interesantes piezas de música klezmer y géneros cercanos a través de nuevas producciones discográficas que nos llevan por Nueva York, Ámsterdam, Italia, Ucrania, Canadá, Suecia e Inglaterra. Celebramos los 40 años de los neoyorquinos The Klezmatics y también felicitamos a los bibliotecarios de Kiev por el rescate de viejos documentos y manuscritos que nos acercan músicas, danzas, memorias e historias que se creían perdidas.
We explore fascinating pieces of klezmer music and related genres through new recordings that take us through New York, Amsterdam, Italy, Ukraine, Canada, Sweden and England. We celebrate the 40th anniversary of the New York band The Klezmatics, and we also congratulate the librarians of Kyiv for rescuing old documents and manuscripts that bring us music, dances, memories and stories once thought lost.
