The veteran and highly influential US violinist Darol Anger offers us a generous musical work filled with collaborations. It is “Diary of a Fiddler #2: The Empty Nest”, the sequel to the first album with that title, recorded in 1999. Having been at the origins of essential ensembles such as the David Grisman Quintet and the Turtle Island String Quartet, he once again sets the standard as a master of North American popular styles.
