From the Mediterranean to Afro-America
Comenzamos con novedades discográficas en el sur de Europa que nos llevan por Cataluña, Mallorca, Serbia y Croacia, para saltar al continente africano y allí disfrutar con nuevos discos de artistas de Guinea Bissau, Mali y Zimbabue. En este país nos quedamos un poco más, para homenajear a la artista recién desaparecida Stella Chiweshe. Nos vamos ahora a América, donde nos siguen acompañando raíces sonoras africanas, con sabrosas reediciones discográficas desde Colombia y Perú, las afinidades brasileñas de un ucraniano en Atlanta y, cerrando el círculo en el Mediterráneo, la música de una artista brasileña desde Italia.
We start with new recordings from southern Europe, which take us through Catalonia, Mallorca, Serbia and Croatia, to jump to the African continent and there enjoy new albums by artists from Guinea Bissau, Mali and Zimbabwe. In this country we stay a little longer, to pay tribute to the recently deceased artist Stella Chiweshe. We now move on to America, where we continue to be accompanied by African musical roots, with tasty re-releases from Colombia and Peru, the Brazilian affinities of a Ukrainian musician in Atlanta and, closing the circle in the Mediterranean, the music of a Brazilian artist in Italy.
