Brindamos nuestra eterna gratitud a los grandes artistas recientemente fallecidos que homenajeamos en esta edición de Mundofonías: Paddy Moloney, gaitero irlandés y el gran jefe de los jefazos: los Chieftains; el enorme y prolífico artista, y luchador antifascista griego Mikis Theodorakis; el maestro sonero cubano Adalberto Álvarez; Nobesuthu Mbadu, una de las maravillosas voces de las sudafricanas Mahotella Queens, y el gran artista etíope Alèmayèhu Eshèté. También suenan otras novedades musicales de aires célticos, italianos y del subcontinente indio.
