Comenzamos el programa recordando y escuchando a tres artistas que nos dejaban recientemente: João Gilberto, uno de los padres de la «bossa nova«; el cumbanchero mexicano Celso Piña y el músico vasco Íñigo Muguruza, a quien escuchamos en su faceta más tropical con los Joxe Ripiau. Continuamos con nuestras #Mundofonews, recorriendo el mundo en busca de los eventos más importantes relacionados con las músicas enraizadas y escuchando a los artistas que estarán allí presentes: Fira Mediterrània de Manresa, WOMEX, Klangkosmos, The Visit, Jeonju International Sori Festival, Without Borders y Festival Boreal, con músicas que nos llegan desde Macedonia del Norte, Suecia, Irán, Albania y la remota isla Rodrigues.

We start the show paying tribute and listening to three artist recently passed away: João Gilberto, one of the fathers of bossa nova; the Mexican cumbanchero Celso Piña and the Basque musician Íñigo Muguruza, to whom we listen in his more tropical experience with the band Joxe Ripiau.
