Raíces en busca de hogar
Roots in search of a home

We begin with plenty of new flamenco releases, building bridges that reach as far as Madagascar, before continuing with Latin American sounds from Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia and Bolivia, and ending with music from Ibiza. And in between, many stories unfold: someone loses their home through gambling while others try to find somewhere to live in a world of property vultures. Echoes of Zoo

RNE Audio

The surprising Belgian quartet Echoes of Zoo defies any classification, bringing together and distilling influences that travel through jazz, evoke Eastern scales and also draw on West African rhythms, among other elements, as they demonstrate on their new and third album, “Collective Intelligence”.
