El violinista Conor Caldwell y el pianista Ryan Molloy reimaginan la conmoción cultural que supuso en Irlanda la llegada de la cultura del “jazz”, a través de discos, programas de radio, cafés y salas de baile en los locos y a veces felices años 20 del siglo pasado. Su disco “Oh, listen to the band!” recupera aires de moda de aquel entonces y celebra también el reencuentro con la música de los irlandeses emigrados al otro lado del Atlántico.

Violinist Conor Caldwell and pianist Ryan Molloy re-imagine the cultural upheaval that the arrival of the jazz culture brought to Ireland, through records, radio programmes, cafés and dance halls in the crazy and sometimes happy 20s of the last century. Their album «Oh, listen to the band!» recaptures the fashionable airs of that time and also celebrates the re-encounter with the music of the Irish emigrants on the other side of the Atlantic.
