Celebramos los tres discos favoritos de Mundofonías del mes de enero, con las griegas afincadas en Estambul del Sinafi Trio; la 7ª promoción de la Kreiz Breizh Akademi, desde Bretaña, y la nueva entrega de los legendarios Gaiteros de San Jacinto, desde el Caribe colombiano. Y en Colombia seguimos, rindiendo nuestro sentido homenaje a Carlos «Cuco» Rojas, arpista e impulsor del grupo Cimarrón y recientemente fallecido. Continuamos con diversas interacciones eléctricas, rockeras y jazzísticas con las músicas de Anatolia, Afganistán y Tracia, para acabar con sonoridades acústicas con inspiraciones célticas e inglesas.

We celebrate the three Mundofonías‘ favorite albums for January, by the Greek musicians living in Istanbul, Sinafi Trio; the 7th release by the Kreiz Breizh Akademi, from Brittany, and the new release of the Colombian Caribbean legends Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto.We continue in Colombia, paying a heartfelt tribute to Carlos «Cuco» Rojas, harp player and leader of Cimarrón band, recently passed away. We move on with different electric, rock and jazz influenced tunes from Anatolia, Afghanistan and Thrace, to end up with acoustic tunes and Celtic and English inspirations.
