Paisajes cambiantes y fascinantes en nuestras Mundofonías de hoy. Comenzamos cruzando en tren el Medio Oeste norteamericano, jugando una partida de póker con L’Attirail. Continuamos con el dúo Belem en dos facetas muy distintas: un disco con enormes artilugios mecánicos y otro con (también enormes) músicos turcos. Seguimos con evocaciones orientales desde Brooklyn, mezclando después canto difónico de Tuvá con beatboxing, para llegar, también en Asia Central, a las montañas del Pamir y terminar por el norte de África, con cantos bereberes antiguos, trances gnawa y electrónica tunecina.

Changing and fascinating landscapes on our today’s Mundofonías. We start crossing by train the North American Midwest, while playing a poker game with L’Attirail. We continue with Belem duo and two very different albums: the first one with enormous mechanical contraptions and the other one with (also enormous) Turkish musicians. Then we enjoy some Oriental evocations from Brooklyn, also some overtone singing from Tuva blended with beatboxing, to arrive, also in Central Asia, to the Pamir mountains. We finish in Northern Africa, with old Berber chants, a bit of Gnawa trance music and Tunisian electronics.
